Hello<a href="https://emojipedia.org/waving-hand" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">👋</a>, my name is Lyall and I make open-source game mods/fixes with a focus on adding ultrawide support.Through my GitHub page I have released mods/fixes for over 30 games over the last few years. In particular I tend to work on games that lack ultrawide support though these days I have expanded in to making more generalised fixes for games.Some recent examples include <a href="https://github.com/Lyall/MGSHDFix" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MGSHDFix</a>, <a href="https://github.com/Lyall/GBFRelinkFix" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">GBFRelinkFix</a>, <a href="https://github.com/Lyall/P3RFix" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">P3RFix </a>and <a href="https://github.com/Lyall/DDDAFix" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DDDAFix</a>. In the case of MGSHDFix for the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection; the game had released with a fixed resolution of 720p and few basic game settings. In the course of developing MGSHDFix, I added support for custom resolutions and ultrawide displays, fixed broken graphical effects, added borderless support and much more. I even had a few excellent contributors on the project.I strongly value the open-source community and the spirit of giving back, which is why all my work is open and minimally-licensed on GitHub.Working on creating these fixes for games can be very complex and time intensive. From reverse engineering specific functions to tracking down specific pieces of code, it can be quite a lot of work.By supporting me on Patreon or anywhere else, you'll be helping me to keep on creating fixes/mods for games and keeping them open-source.
