I am building a standalone application enabling fic discovery and better search for fanfiction.net Flipper works off of a snapshot of 250k parsed user favourites on ffn to suggest you a personalized selection of fics to read. It can be described as "fanfic recommender" but generally, the goal is to make the fic browsing experience on FFN as pain free and enjoyable as posssible. So far, I would say I am rather successful in that. Among unique features of Flipper:  - personalized recommendations based on your tastes - automatic genre categorization to shed light on real genres of fics - ability to exclude fics from searches forever - ability to exclude whole fandoms - ability to tag fics to track your reading - a more sensible and readable fic sheet in search results Strictly speaking I will be developing it regardless of patron's contributions, but having money to pay for running the server and/or motivation wouldn't hurt.
