Yet, Nelly falls in love with Albert, confesses the crime and repairs the wronging, fleeing with Albert to America. But even there they cannot escape the wrath of Zar, who tracks them down, kills Albert and forces Nelly to return with him to Paris. With equal, yet feminine cruelty, Nelly will take revenge.
