His wife comes home, goes through his pockets and finds the candy and the note. Immediately she suspects her husband. Later, noticing something is wrong, he decides to go out. She thinks he is going to meet his lady friend. She goes to a detective agency. Hubby turns while the detective is there, sees his gloves and suspects his wife has a man calling on her. He hires a lady detective to follow his wife. Then complications begin to ensue. The detectives follow both husband and wife and each other, alternately, until neither husband nor wife knows whether they are true to themselves.
