Today she begs a ride from George. Then she transfers to a cake of ice which runs away with her and, after neatly bowling over a policeman, she lands in a limousine, and while the policeman searches for her everywhere, she is riding in style, though not in much comfort, to her place of business. The policeman follows her to the shop-but he can't find her. However, he keeps on the trail. At the modiste shop, the proprietor is furious at Edna for being late. Later in the day he sends her to deliver a package, but when she looks out of the door she sees the policeman looking for her. She ducks back in the store and escapes the officer by dressing in one of the expensive gowns and taking the place of one of the dummies. While the policeman is still looking for her, a couple of burglars enter and try to steal the stock. Edna discovers them and calls the policeman. They all get mixed tip in their search for the bandits until the chase ends in the cellar. There is a fusillade of shots and when the smoke clears away the porter is sitting on top of the heap.
