Johnny, seeking to play a joke on him, fills the donkey's head which the actor uses for the part of Bottom, with honey, but a swarm of bees, attracted to the honey fill the head instead. With eyes "stung" shut, the youth is seized by deputy sheriffs for running away with a partly paid for automobile.
