The program was moderated by Chet Huntley and featured journalists from the Los Angeles Daily News, Los Angeles Daily Mirror, Los Angeles Herald-Express and the Los Angeles Times. Journalists from surrounding suburban newspapers also participated along with television and radio broadcast journalists. Guests often included California politicians, and transportation, air pollution and urban affairs experts. Topical issues ranging from drug abuse and gang activity to broader issues affecting the nation were also discussed. The show was not scripted, but broadcast in a manner identical to actual news conferences. The Greater Los Angeles Press Club was a sponsor. Written by Anonymous See less
