The girl's brother is the cashier of the bank, and after falling into debt to the bad men is forced to take the amount from the bank and place explosives in the vault. Jim watches him from the window and before the fuse is burnt runs in and steals the money from the vault. When he is surrounded in the girl's home he manages to get the drop on the mob and shows his badge revealing that he is the U. S. Deputy that the village judge had sent for. The sheriff and his aide are arrested and the girl forgives Jim. Written by
