Like so many children, she was taken from her parents and adopted in a foreign country. Thinking about the future and her soon-to-be-born daughter, she goes on a journey to (re)encounter this past, searching for answers which she may not find. The film creates a parallel between past-present-future, based on the socio-political events during the years of the Dictatorship in Chile and Brazil. Both countries were linked by very similar circumstances in the past as attempts to destabilize democratic processes still goes on.
