Logic is a fundamental component of advanced computer classes. Reference is constantly being made to how the rules of logic are incorporated into the funda- mental circuits of a computer. The logic used in these classes is known as classical or Boolean logic. Neutrosophic logic is an ex- tension of classical logic, there are two intermediate steps be- tween them. Neutrosophic logic is an idea generated by Florentin Smarandache. Like classical logic, it can be used in many ways, everywhere from statistics to quantum mechanics. Neutrosophy is more than just a form of logic however. Neutrosophic emer- gences are the unexpected occurrences of some major neutro- sophi...

The aim of this pilot study is to find a procedure to diminish the uncertainties from automotive industry induced by manu-facturing, maintenance, logistics, design, hu-man resources.

We present a symbolic system for Italian, derived from GETARUNS, which integrates a range of natural language processing tools with the intent to characterise the print press discourse. The system is multilingual and can produce deep text understanding. This has been done on some 500K words of text, extracted from three Italian newspaper in order to characterize their stance on a deep political crisis situation. We tried two different approaches: a lexicon-based approach for semantic polarity using off-the-shelf dictionaries with the addition of manually supervised domain related concepts; another one is a feature-based semantic and pragmatic approach, which computes propositional level analysis with the intent to better characterize important component like factua...

With such a huge amount of reports, evaluating their impact has long seized to be a trivial task. In this context, this paper intends to introduce a non-scientific factor that represents an important element in the effort of gaining acceptance of claims. Thus, we postulate that the confidence the author is expressing in his work plays an important role in shaping the first impression that influences the reader’s perception of the paper. The results discussed in this paper are based on a series of experiments ran over data from the Open Archives Initiative (OAI) corpus that provides interoperability standards in order to facilitate the effectiveness dissemination of the content. This method can be useful to the direct benef...

Classification or categorization is the task of assigning words from a text corpus to two or more classes or categories. The goal in text categorization is to classify the theme of a text, but, also, the dominant tonalities in a discourse. Our sets of semantic classes (33 for this version) are the extracts from many dailies, which we monitored in time (especially, in electoral context). Here we present a computational tool, Discourse Analysis Tool (DAT), based on natural language processing (NLP) techniques for the interpretation of the political discourse. The idea behind it is that the vocabulary betrays the speaker's level of culture, while the semantic classes mentioned in ...
