This study therefore aims to enhance the potential of this community-based tourism. The process consists of 1) community participating in planning and development with researchers; 2) enhancing the creativity in community-based tourism through the development of the tourist information center, the creative tourism route, new tourism activities, as well as community products; and 3) creating online marketing. The result has enhanced the potential of the new generation members of the Nakhon Chum Promoting Community-Based Tourism Club. They become the community communicators in designing the community tourism route and three creative tourism programs with the average travel cost per person. The tourist service center provides information, tourism routes, and activities, including selling the community products such as basketwork, spa salt, and herbal compress ball. Online marketing leads to the value addition and income for the community products. These impacts on the community potential in creative tourism and a variety of tourism activities could match the different tourist behaviors and empower the domestic tourism for the future recovery.

It applies the phenomenology of “everyday politics” to understand the diversity of perceptions, thoughts, beliefs, experiences and emotions of the different sets of protesters, and shows how they define good politics in their own terms. The main argument is that conflicts between the yellow shirts and the red shirts cannot be fully comprehended simply by contrasting two political ideologies and social classes. Thai political conflicts represent the contestation of different meanings of good politics, which themselves reflect the complexities of underlying social conflicts, as well as the disintegration of the legitimacy of Thailand’s political order. Significantly, these different meanings of good politics reflect different emotional and political realities both between and within the yellow and red shirt supporters. These different realities closely link to experiences of cultural learning, social class and conflict issues in specific contexts and positions.

It also aims to reflect the gender issues of LGBTI people in Thai society, particularly in educational institutions. The research method employed the qualitative research method with the in-depth interview and focus group with the undergraduate students. It was found that the expression of gender identities and sexualities of young tomboys and lesbians is mostly related to family acceptance. Even though the young tomboys and lesbians are freely open themselves and their identities are more accepted in Thai society, but it still has the hidden problem on gender issues behind this open environment. These include a gender discrimination, a social pressure and a family expectation in heterosexual aspects, and sexual harassment in schools and workplaces. In particular, verbal sexual harassment is still an important problem for the actual acceptance in the gender diversity of Thai society. Therefore, gender issues on discrimination and sexual violence could happen at the same time in several social communities such as schools, families, and workplaces. This situation importantly reflects the lack of understanding and education on the gender diversity of Thai schools and society.

In particular, the article looks at the division between the 'yellow shirt' and 'red shirt' political groups during the last decade. It is argued that neither of these groups was ever really internally unified, comprised instead of a wide diversity of social subgroups which shared different desires, ideologies and cultural emotions. The problem of a deeply divided society highlights the disparities that exist within the political and emotional framework of the country. Importantly, the illusion of morality has concealed and suppressed the diversity of thoughts and moral values in many groups of society. Subsequently, Thai political conflict and polarization demonstrate the struggle for power of political and moral meaning among several social subgroups. This struggle is reflected in the cultural forces of emotions, which display greater complexity than the seemingly binary conflict between the yellow and red shirts.

Regardless, the major argument is the division conflicts between the yellow shirts and the red shirts cannot be fully comprehended simply by contrasting between two political ideologies: conservative royal-nationalism and liberal democracy. The problem of Thai political conflicts highlighted the contestation of meanings of politics, democracy and justice shaped by the cultural emotions among the yellow shirt and red shirt supporters, as a reflection of complexities and underlying conflicts within Thai society. Also, it showed the disintegration of the Thai political meaning and legitimacy of a Thai political order based on a moral community. This contestation of meanings examined through the differences of cultural force of emotions, which refers to the intense feelings formed by experience of cultural learning within the context of the subject’s position. This cultural force of emotion is linked to the diversification of social backgrounds in experiences, perceptions, emotions and classes of the yellow shirt and red shirt supporters from different capital cities of Thai regions including Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, Bangkok and Hat Yai district in Songkla. This cultural force of emotions is very much closely linked to a moral community, as the basis of Thai social and political order as well as the Thai cultural identity. The interrelationship between morality and emotions supported the belief in charismatic legitimacy of many Thais. Therefore, another argument is emotion not only motivate human action, but also help to maintain the social and political order in society.
The research method draws on the phenomenology of politics of everyday life. This approach focuses on an interpretation of experiential meaning and perception, which contributes to the constitution of meaning in the social and political realities of social actors within their particular context and position. As a result, the diversity of thought, belief, emotions and values of social actors showed the underlying causes of conflicts within the seemingly binary conflicts between the yellow shirts and red shirts. The main problem faced by Thailand is the gap in understanding that exists between the yellow shirt and red shirt groups in terms of their emotions and feelings, the actions and meanings of politics and values they have applied, those which are highly dynamic given the current contexts of Thai modern state and society.

This new consciousness has appeared in the diversity of social subgroups who joined with the yellow shirts, the red shirts and the People's Democratic Reform Committee movement with their different desires, demands and thoughts. However, the problem lies in the illusion of morality that has concealed and suppressed the diversity of thoughts and other moral decision values of many groups of people in society. Subsequently, Thai political conflicts and polarization demonstrated the struggle for power in the meanings of politics, democracy and justice among several social subgroups. This struggle is reflected in the differences of the cultural force of emotion, which refers to the intense feelings and experience of learning within the context of the subject's position. The patterns of emotions seen within the red shirt groups can help reveal their internal differences, and also the divisions and conflicts that exist there in. I will examine this issue by focusing on an analysis of the affective emotions of love (a positive emotion), anger and hate (negative emotions) displayed by the red shirt groups from Chiang Mai and Bangkok. These emotions can reflect the contestation of meanings of politics, democracy and justice among the social subgroups and individuals who joined the red shirt protests during the last decade of Thailand's political conflicts. This situation, containing different cultural emotions and political meanings, has led to a deeply divided Thai population in terms of the country's politics and society. To understand the diversity of social characteristics and actions that exist within the red shirt groups, one cannot see emotions as static; as emotions vary in terms of their meanings, levels and dynamics, based on the contexts and cultures within which they are experienced.

This paper intends to understand more about The People’ s Alliance for Democracy in Thailand and ... more This paper intends to understand more about The People’ s Alliance for Democracy in Thailand and The People Power Revolution in the Philippines by analyzing those factors and circumstances which led to their ability to mobilize large numbers of people, and also those factors that led to the use of non–violence as a strategy. The study finds that changes in the political, social and economic environments in both
countries resulted in a frame of collective action conducive to the
mobilization of people as part of political movements. The study also
shows that political situations and triggering factors can mobilize people
and justify their political movements. In the cases described here, the key reasons why the groups were able to commit to large-scale, non-violent action, was that they were able to create a positive and conducive
environment within the existing political sphere as well as gain huge
political support, and this situation led to the development of political
opportunity.

The qualitative research method and the non–structure interview were used as research tools, included the participant and non–participant observation in the fieldwork study. The research result showed that the belief was embodied in the legitimacy power of Thai Song Dum's social relationship. The belief in ghosts had expressed by acceptance that ghosts existed as the supernatural power and they were the major part of Thai Song Dum's rituals practices. Besides, the ghost belief also conducted the role of the descendant in heir, which was the base of social structure and power relationship in the social system. The class relation structure was divided into " Phu Tao " (Upper class) and " Phu Noi " (Lower class). Males had the important roles than females in the power relations of family system, especially the role in connecting with the ancestor ghosts. It was a custom as well as an inheritance of Thai Song Dum families. The ghost worship also reflected the local people's demand in spiritual refuge. They believed that ghosts protected them and made they live in happiness. The relationship between humans and ghosts showed in the bargaining relationship, respecting, and recognizing in the favors supported by ghosts. Moreover, the belief encouraged the harmony insides Thai song Dum's families and relatives. Even though, the importance of ghosts had changed in the modern time, the ghost beliefs were still the social structure base of Thai Song Dum's social system and as the rule of their society.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to study the application of the participatory public policy process in the green university development of Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, Phitsanulok, in the lower northern part of Thailand. This study
was of a qualitative research design, and utilized participant observation, in-depth interviews with the key informants, and learning summary by using the after-action review technique. Then, the data was analyzed by the content analysis method and synthesized through the participatory public policy
process. This study focuses on policy formation and
the policy formulation level of the participatory public policy process. The results of the study revealed that the participatory public policy process is a bottom-up policy model, and it can be supplemented by creating a policy network and interactive learning. The important factors that led to the success of the
participatory public policy process were: clarity of the policy mechanism, process and direction; social space openness for interactive-learning through action among the participants; and communication and policy network development to support policy efficiency.
