Hajiyra is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “midday heat”. It is derived from the H26-J-R Quranic root.

Whoever emigrates for the cause of God will find many places of refuge in the land and plentiful provision. Those who leave home for the cause of God and His Messenger; but is then overtaken by death, shall be recompensed by God. God is most forgiving and ever-merciful. (Quran 4:100)
