Malignant hemangiopericytomas constitute only four of these cases. The common clinical manifestations of a malignant omental tumor are abdominal mass and pain. We report on a woman 38 years old who came to the hospital's emergency department with a finding consisting of intestinal obstruction (abdominal pain, constipation, abdominal distention, and vomiting), and during a clinical examination a mass was discovered in the lower half of her abdomen. She had been experiencing these symptoms for three days before her arrival. During a clinical examination, a large size, hard mobile mass was discovered in the lower half of her abdomen. The patient underwent an abdominal CT scan which indicated the presence of a sizable, soft tissue mass located within the abdominal and pelvic region, exerting pressure on the small bowel loops, with mild free ascites. Due to the patient's acute abdomen, an exploration laparotomy was performed, revealing a large mass in the omentum measuring 20×20×10 cm and weighing 3 kg. The mass, along with the omentum, was completely removed, and histopathology confirmed a malignant hemangiopericytoma.

Methods: A prospective analysis of 50 pediatric patients with lung hydatid cysts, surgical management was performed in Saudi Hospital at Hajjah,Yemen. Between April 2015 and April 2022, the patients were divided into two groups, intact noncomplicated (group 1, n = 27) or complicated (group 2, n = 23). A complicated cyst was that had ruptured into a bronchus or into the pleural cavity. Data related to symptoms, preoperative complications, surgical procedures performed, postoperative morbidity, and hospitalization time were collected from patient's parents, medical record and the group findings were compared. Result: Fifty surgical procedures were performed: 45 posterolateral thoracotomies, 2 posterolateral thoracotomies with phrenotomy, two posterolateral thoracotomies with laparotomy and one case tube thoracostomy. Cough, chest pain and dyspnea was main presented symptoms in both groups. In addition to these, the patients with complicated cysts presented with expectoration of cystic contents, hemoptysis, productive sputum, and fever. The differences between the groups with respect to the rates of preoperative complications and postoperative morbidity, frequency of decortications, and hospital stay were statistically significant (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Surgery is the primary mode of treatment for pediatric patients with lung hydatid disease. Complicated cases have higher rates of preoperative and postoperative complications and require longer hospitalization times and more extensive surgical procedures than uncomplicated cases.

It helps to avoid unnecessary surgery and its adverse effects, such as hypothyroidism, hypocalcemia, and recurrent nerve injury. Methods Descriptive perspective analyzed data over a period of 6 years April 2015__April 2021 in Saudi Hospital at Hajjah, Yemen. 226 thyroid operations for 207 patients ,135 patients diagnosis as Solitary thyroid nodule and 72 patients as Multi nodular goiter. Patients with a clinically solitary thyroid nodule were included in the study group. Results 135 cases of clinically detected STN,126 female and 9 male patients, between 14_65 years age, median 41 years and mean 39.76 years, (94, 41)patients respectively Rt side thyroid effect more than Lt side, FNAC sensitivity, specificity and accuracy was (61%, 72%, 64%)respectively. METHOD Clinical records of four SCCT patients treated during 1985--99 were retrospectively reviewed and evaluated. RESULTS Two patients who underwent surgical excision plus radiotherapy died of local tumour recurrence, 6 and 13 months, respectively, post-operatively. One who accepted surgery only died 4 months later of respiratory distress. The fourth patient who had radical surgery coupled with radiotherapy and chemotherapy was disease-free at 26-month follow-up. CONCLUSION SCCT is a very rare but highly malignant carcinoma. Early diagnosis and an aggressive radical surgery portend a better prognosis. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are secondary applicable methods for the patients with certain condition.

Methods: Medical files and histopathology reports of 207 patients who underwent thyroidectomy over 5-year period were reviewed. Data including patient' age, gender, presentation, ultrasonography, FNAC, surgical procedures, final histopathologic diagnosis and types of malignant tumors were collected and analyzed. Results: There were 135 patient's solitary thyroid nodule and 72 patients with multinodular goiter, 193 females and 14 male. Mean age was 36.68 ± 14.5 years (range 13-70). The prevalence of thyroid cancer was 26% (35/135) in STN compared to 24% (17/72) in MNG (Chi-Square = 8.593, p > 0.18). Only male gender (p = < 0.000005) and preoperative clinical, ultrasound finding and fine needle aspiration cytology resulted that impression of malignancy (p = 0.000082) were significantly associated with thyroid carcinoma. Conclusion: Risk of thyroid carcinoma in STN and MNG is similar. The incidence of malignancy in thyroid nodules in overall is indeed high. For that clinically detected thyroid nodules should be treated with high degree of suspicion. Male patient and Rapid growth by history and hard fixed nodule by clinical examination and hypoechoic, micro calcification and cervical lymphadenopathy on USG were seen more frequently in malignant nodules. While age, number and size of nodules were not. Intraoperative assessment for hardness and fixedity of nodule and decision for total thyroidectomy at that time reducing need to second operation as completion thyroidectomy and its complication.
