Elementary behavioural rules as a foundation for morphogenesis

Two properties of a propagative deterministic context-free Lindenmayer system permit the
determination of values which can be used in tests for histogenetic and morphogenetic
hypotheses, just as segregation proportions after hybridization can be confronted with
values from the Mendelian model. The procedure used is explained by means of an
