The successful development of analytical tools for the detection of a given target molecule at
low concentrations is strongly dependent on the use of high affinity binders. To date,
antibodies are widely used as capturing agents, however they suffer from some limitations.
Molecularly imprinted nanoparticles are considered a promising alternative to natural
