Yutaka Watanobe is currently a senior associate professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, The University of Aizu, Japan. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. from The University of Aizu in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He was a research fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) at The University of Aizu in 2007. He is now a director of i-SOMET. He was a coach of four ICPC World Final teams. He is a developer of the Aizu Online Judge (AOJ) system. His research interests include intelligent software, programming environments, smart learning, machine learning, data mining, cloud robotics, and visual languages. He is a member of IEEE and IPSJ.
