Information

A Chinese Researcher, I am working in the Beijing Key Laboratory for HIV/AIDS Research, Center for Infectious Diseases, Beijing Youan Hospital, Capital Medical University on HIV/AIDS basic and clinical research since 2016 in Beijing, China. I was trained in the fields of infectiology and obtained my Bachelor's, Master's degree and Ph.D. in Virology supervised by Pr. François Clavel and Dr. Beatrice Labrosse in the University of Paris 7. From 2011 to 2015, I was trained under the supervision of Dr. Christiane Moog on HIV vaccine development in the INSERM U1109 and University of Strasbourg in France. My career interests are: (1) to investigate the humoral and cellular immune responses against novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and its pathogenicity; (2) to study the entry mechanism of influenza virus & HIV; (3) to investigate the mechanism of T/B cell dysfunction and depletion in HIV/AIDS disease; (4) to investigate the mechanism by which antibodies could inhibit HIV infection and transfer at the mucosal site to prevent HIV infection and transmission; (5) to determine the effects of long-term antiretroviral therapy initiated during acute/primary HIV-1 infection on reservoir size; (6) to analyze the mechanism of immune reconstitution during acute and chronic HIV infection, which could develop specific treatments to return the immune system to homeostasis following initiation of HIV-1 therapy and novel therapeutic strategies aiming to cure HIV infection.
