Prof. Dr. Hanguang Fu is a Ph.D., professor, and doctoral supervisor at the Beijing University of Technology and enjoys special government allowances from the State Council. He graduated from the Second Department of Mechanical Engineering of Shenyang University in 1985, obtained his master's degree at the Mechanical Engineering of Chang'an University in 1991, and his PhD from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, in 2004. He worked at the Beijing Metallurgical Equipment Research Institute of the Ministry of Metallurgy from 1985 to 2000 and was promoted to senior engineer in 1997; from April 2004 to February 2006 and from March 2006 to September 2007, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Postdoctoral Station of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University, and the Postdoctoral Station of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, respectively; since September 2007, he has taught at the Institute of Welding and Surface Technology, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Technology, mainly engaged in new material preparation technology teaching and research work. He is a member of the Foundry Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and a member of the Materials Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. He is an editorial board member of magazines such as China Foundry and a reviewer of international academic journals such as Wear.
