Dr. Lawrence Phoa Belo

Lawrence P. Belo is a Full Professor with the Chemical Engineering Department of De La Salle University - Manila. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2015 from The University of Newcastle, Australia, M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and Management (with high distinction and outstanding master’s thesis) in 2008 and B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering in 2001 from De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines. He has received the 7th highest score in the Philippine national chemical engineering licensure examination in May 2002. He received the Outstanding Thesis Award for Earth Science and Space Technology Applications in the 2009 Philippine Council for Advanced Science and Technology Research and Development (PCASTRD). His research interests are on CCS Technologies, Environmental Engineering, Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies, Pollution Remediation (Phytoremediation).
