Jinsheng Xiao is an IEEE member and an associate professor in Information and Communication Engineering at the School of Electronic Information, Wuhan University, China. He received his bachelor's degree in computational mathematics at Wuhan University, China, in 1996 and his Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Wuhan University, China, in 2001. Between August 2014 and August 2015, he was a visiting scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 scientific articles in journals, books, and conference proceedings. His work focuses on image and video processing, computer vision, and image and video enhancement.
