Dr. Jiquan Yang has a position as a professor and Master’s supervisor, and is currently working at the School of Electrical and Automation Engineering, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing, China. He holds a Master’s degree in electromechanical control and automation and a Doctorate in mechanical and electronic engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He is mainly engaged in basic research, technology development and application, and achievement transformation in the fields of 3D printing (additive manufacturing) and intelligent manufacturing. He has presided over more than 20 projects, including the National Key R&D Program projects, the National Natural Science Foundation projects, the Jiangsu Province Key R&D Program, and the Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Special Funds. He has published more than 100 papers, 15 books, and obtained more than 150 authorized patents (including 55 invention patents), as well as more than 60 software copyrights. He is the director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of 3D Printing Equipment and Manufacturing. He is the chairman of the Jiangsu Province 3D Printing Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. He is a member of the Additive Manufacturing Committee of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers and the China Additive Manufacturing Standardization Committee.
