João Serrano is a professor with a permanent appointment at the Department of Rural Engineering at the School of Science and Technology, University of Évora (Portugal). He obtained a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Évora in 2002 and past Pedagogical Aptitude and Scientific Capacity Tests in Information Systems in Agricultural Tractors (1994) and Aggregation Tests in Precision Agriculture (2015). He has experience in the area of Rural Engineering, with an emphasis on Agricultural Machinery and Precision Agriculture. He is an integrated researcher at the MED (Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development). He holds a Master in Sports Training from the University of Évora and is also responsible for the specialization in “Futsal” in the Degree in Sports Sciences at the University of Évora.
