Tübingen is a destrict (Kreis) in the middle o Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Neebourin destricts are (frae north clockwise) Böblingen, Reutlingen, Zollernalbkreis an Freudenstadt.

[eedit | eedit soorce]The destrict dates back tae the Oberamt Tübingen in the state o Württemberg. In 1811 the Oberamt Rottenburg wis creatit, an baith wur convertit intae destricts in 1934. In 1938 maist o the destrict Rottenburg as well as a few municipalities frae the destrict Herrenberg and Reutlingen wur addit tae the destrict Tübingen. In 1974 it wis enlargit again when some municipalities frae the dissolvit destrict Horb wur addit.
Geografie
