William B Robison
William B. (Bill) Robison (Ph.D., Louisiana State University, 1983) is Professor of History and Head of the Department of History and Political Science at Southeastern Louisiana University, co-editor (with Ronald Fritze) of Historical Dictionary of Stuart England (1996) and Historical Dictionary of Late Medieval England (2002), co-author (with Sue Parrill) of The Tudors on Film and Television (2013), editor of and contributor to History, Fiction, and ‘The Tudors’: Sex, Politics, Power, and Artistic License in the Showtime Television Series (2016), author of various articles and book chapters on early modern England and popular culture, director of the film Louisiana During World War II (2013), a published poet, and a BMI affiliated musician with the band Mary's Wish. He and his wife Bibbet, an artist, live in Baton Rouge.
