Regulator G-proteinske signalizacije 7 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran RGS7 genom.[1][2]
RGS7 se nalazi u povišenoj koncentraciji u mozgu, gde deluje kao universalni inhibitor Gi/o-spregnutih GPCR. RGS7 je aktivirajući protein GTPaze (GAP). On ubrzava GTP hidrolizu na G proteinima, čime određuje njihovu brzu inaktivaciju. Isto tako deluje kao intraćeliski antagonist GPCR signalizacije.[3]
Pokazano je da RGS7 formira interakcije sa GPR158,[4] PKD1,[5] GNB5[6][7] i SNAPAP.[8]
