SharkHacks is here! Whether you are a fan of sharks or the Ikea shark, blahaj, this hackathon is the perfect time to have fun with your sharky hack ideas!
We will be running a fun, activity-filled, open-themed digital hackathon. Feel free to hack on whatever you'd like or make it shark-themed for the fun of it. These events are open to all skill levels, from beginners to the most veteran developers.
We'd love you to build whatever you want to this weekend, don't feel limited by our theme. It's here for inspiration.
Eligibility
This event open to hackers, all over the world, who are students at the time of the hackathon or who have graduated within the last 12 months. Students can include high school students, university undergraduate or postgraduate students, and people who are in vocational training such as apprenticeships.
As per our Code of Conduct, there is no discrimination on the basis of race, religion, national origin, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, social class, economic status, veteran status, disability, or age.
Requirements
- We require all teams to submit a 2 minute or less demo video.
- Your video must be created the weekend of the hackathon.
- Your code must be available in some sort of public repository.
- We do allow you to submit your project to other hackathons (this weekend only) as long as the other hackathon also allows this.
- If you're continuing work on an old project, you MUST specify in your Devpost what was worked on 1) before the hackathon and 2) during the hackathon.
