However, the economic potential in Kragan needs to be optimally managed. Most of the fisheries sector is still run traditionally. So there is dependence between small fishermen, who are still traditional, on prominent/modern investors. Many small fishermen are shackled by poverty in this case. Thus, it is essential to increase public knowledge regarding financial management in the fisheries sector so that the economy of traditional fishermen is no longer dependent on large/modern fishermen. The solution offered by researchers is to increase public financial literacy by utilizing technology 4.0. This technology is focused on community empowerment through product marketing. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The research population is the people on the coast of Kragan. The research analysis uses a qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that the financial literacy rate is still relatively low, around 58.2%. Most informants chose to use the old method, so there was an imbalance between small fishermen who used the traditional method and big/modern fishermen. While the results of the FGD show that technology 4.0 can help grow the Kragan people's economy by managing fishery products and increasing financial literacy

The social and economic marginalization experienced by fishermen does not manifest in the form of isolation, but rather manifests in the inability of fishing communities to take part in market economic activities profitably. In fact, now we have entered the era of digital buying and selling transactions, which are more efficient and effective, supported by promising infrastructure. Therefore, it is necessary to provide outreach & training in the use of online shops to the fishing community. This community service consists of four stages, namely preparation, implementation, evaluation and monitoring. The object of study is fishing communities who have businesses from three sub-districts in East Rembang. The target is that people are expected to be skilled in using the "SIAB-Marketplace" application in running their business. As a result of service activities, there has been an increase in knowledge and skills in using digital smartphone applications and internet access in marketing the products produced as well as an expansion of the product marketing area, so that it can be used by consumers. The advice given in this activity is that further assistance related to digital marketing should be provided, in this case the use of digital platforms in the promotion and sale of various products so that there is an increase in income which has an impact on people's welfare.

Disaster education trains knowledge, attitudes, and skills in dealing with disasters, one of which can be done through formal education, starting from early childhood to tertiary education. This writing aims to analyze the model of implementing disaster education through formal education, starting from early childhood education, elementary school, and middle school, to university. This article systematically uses the type of literature review writing by reviewing as many as 53 articles in Scopus-indexed journals and proceedings. The research results show different disaster education models at each level. The early childhood education level is taught with fun learning activities inside and outside the classroom, telling stories, and through websites. Elementary school level is carried out by camping, disaster drills, integrated with learning and local wisdom, implementing programs in schools, and optimizing smartphone functions. The secondary school level is conducted by conducting preparedness exercises, optimizing smartphones, applying specific learning methods, and integrating them with subjects. As for the tertiary level, this can be done by being involved in management, in natural disaster areas, and making disaster education a compulsory subject.

However, in the last decade, land conversion has been converted to non-agricultural land, significantly reducing rice production and disrupting food security. Based on this background, this study was conducted to analyze processes, patterns, and spatial trends of land use conversion and their effects on food security conditions, both of which are the basis for recommending sustainable land use directions in Bantul Regency. The study was conducted using a mixed approach with the research population of all sub-districts in Bantul Regency, and the survey method was used to validate land conversion data. The variables in this study consist of (1) land conversion, including processes, patterns, and spatial trends, and (2) food security. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and field checks. Land conversion analysis uses the Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN=z-score), with data on the distribution of conversions from agricultural to non-agricultural land use made from LANDSAT Satellite Imagery data. The research results on the nearest neighbor distribution index from the ANN analysis show that the pattern of land use conversion at the district level is clustered. In contrast, they are clustered, random, and dispersed at the sub-district level. While at the sub-district level, the food security level is a high surplus in six sub-districts, a low surplus in eight sub-districts, and minus in three sub-districts. Directions for sustainable land use are as follows: areas that can be converted for development are three sub-districts; as a granary area are two sub-districts; and as a buffer zone are six sub-districts. Land conversion not only affects the existence of productive land, but also affects various other factors such as economic, social, and environmental factors which in turn have an impact on decreasing food production and income per capita of farming families. Buffer areas should be converted with such strict provisions that sustainable food security can be realized.

Compared to conventional mapping, participatory mapping is considered more effective because, through this mapping, complete and detailed information will be obtained relatively quickly. However, given the limitations of the community, the participatory mapping process must be carried out through empowerment. Participatory mapping is one part of disaster education for the community. This research will provide disaster education through socialization and training on participatory mapping of GIS-based abrasion-prone areas in Sarang District, Rembang Regency based on community empowerment through a mixed-methods approach. The techniques used in data collection are interview, observation, questionnaire, a document study, and FGD techniques. The results show that this research has carried out participatory mapping based on community empowerment through preparation, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring stages. The results of participatory mapping are the active involvement of the community physically and mentally, the formation of a map of the occurrence of abrasion, and increasing the capacity of knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of the community. The resulting maps can be used as recommendations to local governments and guidelines for local communities.

The capacity of the people of Kragan District, Rembang Regency in dealing with abrasion disasters... more The capacity of the people of Kragan District, Rembang Regency in dealing with abrasion disasters is still low. The low capacity is because the community has never received education on abrasion. This study was conducted to 1) examine and analyze the community’s capacity for abrasion disaster in the coastal area of Kragan District, Rembang Regency, 2) develop a community participation-based edusaster abrasion disaster education model, and 3) analyze the effectiveness of edusaster as a community participation-based abrasion disaster education model. This research is a mixed methods research that combines research and development (R&D), quantitative, and qualitative research. Model development is carried out through Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects of this research are one expert on disaster materials, one expert on disaster education, 15 people who assess the product in a limited way, and 104 research samples. The data in this study were taken through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively to determine the community’s capacity, the effectiveness of the model, and the effectiveness of the model to increase community capacity. In addition, qualitative analysis was also carried out as triangulation. The results showed that the community’s capacity, in general, was still low. The highest community capacity is the participation capacity which is in the “Good” category, while the knowledge and attitude capacity are in the “enough” category, and the perception and adaptation and mitigation capacity, which is in the “Poor” category. Therefore, this research creates an abrasion disaster education model called edusaster, which can increase community capacity. The edusaster model is created through the ADDIE development model. The first stage is the analysis stage, which is done by analyzing the gap, then formulating the edusaster model as a solution. The edusaster model, which consists of a model syntax and complementary components of the model in the form of instruments for measuring community capacity, material internalization guidelines, participatory mapping guidelines, preparedness training guidelines, and research instruments are made at the design stage. According to experts at the development stage, the edusaster model that has been made is then tested for its effectiveness. The expert stated that the model had very good quality and was declared effective so that the model was then implemented to determine the effectiveness according to field implementation. The results show that the model effectively increases community capacity, both total capacity and partial capacity in the form of knowledge capacity, attitude, participation, perception, and adaptation and mitigation of abrasion disasters. The effectiveness of the edusaster model is seen from two stages, namely the effectiveness of the model based on expert and community assessments and based on the results of the effectiveness test. Disaster materials experts and disaster education experts stated that the model was “Very Good” in all aspects assessed. Through the limited test, the community also stated that the model was in the “Very Good” category. The edusaster model was also tested for its effectiveness in increasing community capacity through implementation on a field scale by involving the experimental group treated with the edusaster model and the control group treated with conventional disaster education. The analysis results show that disaster education with edusaster and conventional models both increase the capacity of the people of Kragan District to deal with abrasion disasters. However, the increase in community capacity was higher in the experimental group than in the control group, so it can be seen that disaster education with the edusaster model is more effective than the conventional model.
