Jean Cabut (13 January 1938 – 7 January 2015), better known as Cabu, was a French comic strip artist and caricaturist. He was best known for his work on the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
Cabu was born in Châlons-en-Champagne. His son was singer Mano Solo.
Cabu was among the victims who were killed in a shooting at Charlie Hebdo's Paris headquarters on 7 January 2015. He was 76.[1]
