USA Today is a daily newspaper founded by Al Neuharth. It has the most readers of any daily newspaper in the United States. About 2.25 million copies are sold on a weekday. It comes second worldwide. The Times of India sells about 2.6 million copies on a weekday.

The paper was founded in 1982. It has a much more colorful markup than other national newspapers, like the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal.

The paper became known for making national polls before elections.
