DownloadEqualizer APO is a parametric / graphic equalizer for Windows. It is implemented
as an Audio Processing Object (APO) for the system effect infrastructure
introduced with Windows Vista.
Requirements:
- Windows Vista or later (Windows 7 - 11 have been tested)
- CPU architecture x64 (64 bit), x86 (32 bit) or ARM64 (on Windows 10/11)
- the application must not bypass the system effect infrastructure
(APIs like ASIO or WASAPI exclusive mode can not be used)
Equalizer APO is best used in conjunction with Room EQ Wizard (http://www.roomeqwizard.com/), because it can read its filter text file format.

Idk what some people are saying about this thing but it works wonders. Got some new DT 770 Pro headphones for Christmas and I though they sounded great by themselves! (Which they do) And this makes them sound even better because I mess with different parts of the spectrum which allows me to fully customise it. I really do recommend this program.

I really don't know what user01 is talking about. I absolutely love Equalizer APO. I have been using Equalizer APO for some time now and it is the easiest way to have a system-wide equalizer. My stereo sounds awful when connected to my PC, but Equalizer APO makes it sound fine. Thank you so much for creating this software :)

all this does is makes a bussing noise then stops outputing audio why can't i find a good eq app WITHOUT ISSUES[EDIT] it constantally makes bussing/interference noises even when closed this acts like malware so im going to uninstall and send a report it used to work but looks like its malware now and yes ive tryed EVERY step to fix it
