"Stable & Reliable - and very nearly great"

    Posted 2022-08-15

Pros: The Zapier-Twilio interface is a good one, and makes sending MMS and SMS messages very easy. The general UX for Twilio is OK, too.

Cons: The problem comes when there's a messaging error. The error notification can be a long time in coming, and not particularly informative. Even if you drill down to the data dispatched to Twilio, the error codes aren't very informative.

Overall: Generally - I'm very happy with Twilio. Yes, I wish error handling was faster and more intuitive. But since errors are highly infrequent, that's not a deal-breaker.

"Sharpen your communication strategies with Twilio"

    Posted 2021-03-22

Pros: Twilio is an application that offers an applicable proposal to increase, manage and improve strategies at the level of communication between company-client, through intelligent and practical functions such as text messaging, phone calls and an extensive list of interactive channels that specify the recipient to generate a sense of closeness.

Cons: One of the most notable drawbacks of this application is that it does not have a mode for cell phones, which generates a certain ironic impact since it would make it much more practical in the manageability of the service through it. In addition, it has the limitation of the language, since it is only preset to English.

Overall: To give an overall assessment, it could be highlighted the important amount of strategic tools to generate rapprochement and feedback between users and the company using a constant and active interaction despite the limitations that result in detracting from the mobile devices and language.

"The trustworthy message and voice robot"

    Posted 2020-08-18

Pros: - Very useful especially in building for cross-platform users and solutions. There are several messaging services and networks these days. Twilio can be the backend for all those at once.

Cons: No major cons encountered. Maybe the service can be laggy at times but that is rare.

Overall: If your software uses messaging APIs to talk and deliver to thousands of customers, you definitely a robust backend to handle it. Twilio does a great job at that.

"Makes it super easy to let your application send texts!"

    Edited 2020-07-17

Pros: I learned about Twilio at a hackathon in 2016, and I really liked how easy Twilio's REST API is to use. The documentation is great too, so even with just a few hours I was able to create a prototype app that could send SMS to users.

Cons: I struggled a bit but that was more because I was new to the concept of REST APIs at the time.

Overall: Twilio's the only text sending service I know of for automated SMS messaging within apps and thus far I'm pretty happy with it.
