People not only use smartphone to talk, but also for e-mailing, texting, microblogging, etc.In addition to these, user can also give voice commands for different activities like searching, navigating and also provides voice-enabled keyboard. Smartphones are also used to access useful information in the fields of education. In this paper we discuss an application which recognizesuser’svoice and convert it into text using android voice recognition API and Google Voice Search application and this converted text is used to generate standard SELECT query and execute to produce result.

Though TM is not really associated with the semantic and the syntax of a language, it does try to link documents or unstructured data in such a way that at the end of the day we can say those documents are semantically closely associated. TM has a number of subtasks like Text Clustering, Text Summarizing, Text Categorizing, etc. In this paper we are discussing research related to converting a simple English language question to its equivalent Structured Query Language (SQL) statement for a novice to fetch information from a database. This tool that we have developed has been named the N-ELIDB -Natural English Language Query Interface to Database. This is a heuristic tool which after generating the SQL, tries to categorize the questions using the concept of Text Categorization. The previous part is for a normal user and the later part is for the Text Miner.

Many speech recognition applications also provide the support for regional languages. In this paper, we would like to discuss the work that will add some facility to the state-of-the-art facility of speech recognition of Gujarati language. We have designed and developed a system that allows the users to give commands to their smartphone in Gujarati language for some basic facilities like calling, sending SMS, etc. The vocabulary includes total of 60 words consisting of Gujarati digits, some persons' name to be considered as a contact name and operational commands which yield the overall average recognition accuracy of 82.23%.

But there is a chance of licking the personal information while transferring those data over Internet. There are cyber stalkers who stole the user password and used it for harassing and reading the personal information of the victims. In this paper we present the solution of storing password and sensitive data using salt hash technique. There are various methods for securing data, but salt may prove dominant among other in some applications. Salt is a publicly readable string stored in the database for each user id to protect against the dictionary attacks. Salt hash password is used to reduce the dictionary attacks.

In this chapter, the authors tried to propose folksonomy based information retrieval by generating tag cloud. This model not only helps the industries to manage their electronic resources for retrieval but helps them by providing suggestions for tagging with the usage of similarity metrics. This suggestive mechanism also helps users to understand resources at specific and organizations at general. The authors also have implemented the model to demonstrate the experimental results followed by discussion.

The paper illustrates the fuzzy expert system implementation for diagnosing diarrhea using jFuzzyLogic and Java API for XML Web Services (JAX-WS). The system provides convenient, realistic and reasonable means for medical practitioners and common man to diagnose health condition; so that proper medication can be taken.
