I have consulted to organizations and treated executives since 1980. In 2002, after consulting to them on and off for 8 years, I left full-time teaching to join Home Depot and spent almost 4 years witnessing what from time to time demonstrated the absurdity of corporate life.I serve on the faculty at several institutions, I also write, consult and have a small private practice.I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from CCNY (zero tuition and fees were $27 per semester and when they raised it $5 we went on strike). At the college I taught at for many years, I witnessed a faculty member stuffing teaching evaluations in an envelop sent from his class to the dean's mailbox. In 2002 I wrote the article below and had it published as a follow-up to the first article Part 1. When the J Consulting to Management (C2M) merged with another journal this article (part 2) disappeared and no one could tell me what happened even though the first journal article Part 1 was in their possession. It disappeared for years. Then in August 2016 while looking through an old data base I found it. But to my shock three other authors added their names. Three people I did not know. So I googled them. One of them named Razzetti is retired from the military, was on the C2M board back then. The second Phillips is at the U of Pittsburg and the third Crocker I believe has died. Why would they do this? To build their resumes by stealing and hiding my article and adding their names. It reminds me of the time in the early 70s going to the library to obtain and article in the J of Ethics I discovered someone had torn it out. By the way, Razzetti, who now calls himself a retired captain and military consultant, was on the editorial board of C2M when it merged with another journal. He now teaches ethics at some military institute. This is part of his dismissive response to an email sent to him in August 2016 after I discovered what he had done. " 2. Around the 2001 timeframe, I wrote an article on "Condominium Consulting" for the Journal, which may have appeared in the same issue as yours. Hence the mix-up. I would search my files for a hard copy if I felt like it, but I don't. " He would search if he felt like it, what a fool. This is my article I found in the U of Michigan archive with the three bogus authors. Abstract Why consultations fail is discussed. An analysis of a failure must begin with the consultant. He or she must be able to engage in self-reflection. The ideal self-analysis and perhaps the most difficult question to answer is: What is it about my background, early issues, and unresolved conflicts that come up during the consultation and diminish my capacity to work or perceive things clearly, or that cause blind spots? It is vital for a consultant to be aware of his or her blind spots.

Traditionally the sick building syndrome has been the domain of physical scientists, who have localized their investigations to the physical entities of the workplace. However, in the two decades this phenomena has been studied little evidence has contributed to the belief that physical causes can be isolated. Recent studies are suggesting that we begin to investigate the psychological basis of the disorder. This paper investigates the sick building disease from a psychoanalytic perspective, that is, the psychodynamic issues in the workplace that underlie the abberation, factors in the workplace that increase susceptibility, and the unconscious functions the syndrome plays in the life of employees.

Using differing theories the four psychoanalysts reach the same conclusion. They conclude the consultation succeeded because of the consultants ability to manage and benefit from the intense transference reactions of the organization’s staff. These
