Maadili bawaba

Kiasi (kwa Kiingereza temperance, kutoka Kilatini temperantia; kwa Kigiriki σωφροσύνη, sofrosune) ni adili linaloratibu matumizi ya vitu, binadamu asije akatawaliwa na tamaa[1][2][3].

Pamoja na falsafa[4][5][6][7], dini nyingi[8][9][10][11] na baadhi ya wanasaikolojia[12] [13]wanasifu adili hilo na kuhimiza kulitekeleza (k.mf. kwa njia ya usafi wa moyo, upole[14] na saumu[15]).

Katika Ukristo ni mojawapo kati ya maadili bawaba yanayotegemeza maadili mengine yote ya kiutu. Hasa Wakatoliki wanasisitiza usafi wa moyo na upole kama matawi muhimu zaidi ya adili la kiasi.
