This page describes the curriculum requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering (GCSE). The GCSE is offered both on-campus and through U-online. The director of the MSSE is also the director of the GCSE. The director must approve any course substitutions. At most one class can be transferred from another institution, and this class must be approved by the Director of the GCSE.

Prerequisites

The student must have completed a year of calculus
The student must have completed a semester so statistics
It is recommended that the student have at least one class in computer programming

Graduate Certificate Requirements (Identical for on-campus or online)

Be able to enroll in graduate courses at the U. (Be admitted to any U graduate degree, be admitted by the Graduate School as a nondegree seeking student, or pursue as a nonmatriculated student.)
Complete the required 15 hours of courses with a grade of B or higher in every course
Fill out the GCSE completion form in the semester that the certificate is to be awarded
