奥壱岐の湯本温泉発祥の地、ウリは通常の10倍の濃度の温泉に浸かり、いざ、夕食へ。
インパクトがすごい、刺身盛り合わせ。
特にあたしはクエが大好きで、久しぶりな新鮮な刺身を戴きました。クエの香りが口いっぱいに漂い、プリプリ&皮の部分がコリコリの歯ごたえがとても良い。まったく臭みがなくピュアなクエの香りと味です。脂はこれから乗ってくる季節ですが、この時期のは少しさっぱりしていて刺身にはとても合っている。
黒あわびも、あたしは刺身よりも肝で和えたバター焼きの方が好きです。肝が新鮮だと濃厚で最高のマッチングです。
次にスルメイカですが、新鮮故の歯ごたえと甘みを堪能しました。
お酒は壱岐の飲み比べ五品2,500円がオススメです。
自分の好みを発見できます。あたしは、円円が好きです。
ボリューム満点、と言うか、一般の120%、食べきれない人もいるようで最初に品数を減らす、品数は同じで量を減らすなど選べますが、あたしはそのままにした。
珍しいものとして、壱岐は真珠の養殖も盛んで、アコヤガイの貝柱も戴きました。ホタテとは違って小ぶりですが瑞々しさと独特の香りが美味しかった。
平山旅館は、一度は来るべき、至福のひと時を味わ得るオススメです。
あたしの滞在時は船が当日と翌日は欠航で観光客が少なくてゆったりできました。
あたしは飛行機で来ましたので、天候に強い飛行機が良いと思います。
