Karena, karakter menjadi salah satu fungsi terbaik jati diring seseorang dalam kehidupannya. Namun, saat ini penanaman nilai-nilai karakter masih belum menemukan formula strategi yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan strategi yang digunakan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada anak usia dini di Rumah Anak Sholeh (RAS) yang merupakan lembaga non profit yang fokus pada penanaman karakter pada anak. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa hakikatnya strategi yang digunakan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter terbagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu penanaman melalui berbagai metode khas RAS, dan penanaman melalui media. Hakikatnya strategi yang digunakan didasarkan pada kebutuhan psikologis anak-anak, hanya saja RAS memiliki strategi khusus sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat strategi yang memiliki ke-khas-an. Rumah singgah yang bernama Rumah Anak Sholeh (RAS) menawarkan sebuah pendidikan yang tepat untuk perubahan perilaku anak-anak tersebut yaitu dengan menyelenggarakan pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Rumah Anak Sholeh (RAS) Purus Kota Padang. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan deskripsi dan analisis data ditemukan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Rumah Anak Sholeh dilakukan secara komprehensif dan bernuansa religius. Pengembangan nilai karakter universal diintegrasikan dengan nilai karakter yang bersumber dari kepribadian Rasulullah S.A.W melalui tahap perencanaan dengan penetapan target karakter, pelaksanaan yang mencakup pendekatan yang digunakan dalam menanamkan nilai karakter nilai karakter sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak serta evaluasi untuk melihat perkembangan karakter anak serta ditunjang dengan kegiatan parenting untuk orangtua dan seminar parenting untuk masyarakat luas. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Nuansa Religius, Integrasi Nilai-nilai PENDAHULUAN Setiap anak lahir dengan membawa berbagai potensi yang membutuhkan stimulasi yang tepat agar dapat berkembang secara optimal (Agusti et al., 2018; Lickona, 2013; Sabar Budi Raharjo, 2010). Salah satu sarana mengembangkan potensi anak adalah melalui pendididikan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan deskripsi dan analisis data ditemukan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Rumah Anak Sholeh dilakukan secara komprehensif dan bernuansa religius. Pengembangan nilai karakter universal diintegrasikan dengan nilai karakter yang bersumber dari kepribadian Rasulullah S.A.W melalui tahap perencanaan dengan penetapan target karakter, pelaksanaan yang mencakup pendekatan yang digunakan dalam menanamkan nilai karakter nilai karakter sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak serta evaluasi untuk melihat perkembangan karakter anak serta ditunjang dengan kegiatan parenting untuk orangtua dan seminar parenting untuk masyarakat luas. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Nuansa Religius, Integrasi Nilai-nilai PENDAHULUAN Setiap anak lahir dengan membawa berbagai potensi yang membutuhkan stimulasi yang tepat agar dapat berkembang secara optimal (Agusti et al., 2018; Lickona, 2013; Sabar Budi Raharjo, 2010). Salah satu sarana mengembangkan potensi anak adalah melalui pendididikan. Melalui pendidikan, anak dapat memperoleh dan meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap yang baik, serta sesuai dengan arah pendidikan, hal ini sejalan dengan pengertian pendidikan menurut Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 Bab 1 Pasal 1 Ayat 1 yang menyatakan bahwa dengan pendidikan, potensi anak dapat dikembangkan sehingga anak dapat menjadi individu yang berguna bagi diri, bangsa dan negaranya. Undang-Undang Dasar pasal 31 ayat 1 menyatakan bahwa setiap warga negara berhak mendapatkan pendidikan. Dewasa ini seringkali peneliti mengamati banyak anak-anak berperilaku tidak baik karena ekonomi dan pengaruh lingkungan sehingga anak tidak mendapatkan haknya untuk pendidikan di sekolah meupun pendidikan dari orangtua. Kondisi tersebut banyak ditemui pada anak-anak di daerah Purus kota Padang yang seringkali mendapat contoh kurang baik dari lingkungannya serta kurangnya perhatian dari orang tua.
