raising my blood pressure thinking about how some people think Rage Against the Machine's "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" is about DEI and vaccines and environmental regulations
the reason it took 4chan this long to get hacked despite being such a jank piece of shit is that it was sort of just an unwritten rule not to. it's sort of like the continental hotel from john wick, but for internet shitheads instead of assassins.
Because of our reporting and many readers contacting Planned Parenthood of Arizona, the organization will NOT over comply with Trump, and is restarting its trans adult care.
Some of us always meant it, but yeah, I was just commiserating with an old Reason colleague about what a disappointing eye-opener the Trump era has been. If we’re not all-hands for this, if we can’t see an authoritarian emergency this obvious, who are we even kidding?
The failure of libertarians to pick the right side in this has exposed their whole thought system. A principled libertarian attack on limiting government overreach would be welcome at this time. Put no such thing exists. Libertarian just means selfish.
MITRE supports a ton of federal cybersecurity work, with the CVE program probably being the most famous example. It's a globally used repository for vital information about vulnerabilities. cve.mitre.org
I've asked DHS what's going on with the MITRE contract.
I liked playing both characters, but if you clear a base as Naoe, then find a box only Yasuke can move, and switching characters prompts the seasons to change which prompts all the enemies to respawn, it SUCKS.
I like the newer Assassin's Creed Games in order of release: Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, then Shadows.
By Valhalla, the format was getting overly repetitive, and by Shadows it was overly repetitive in a setting that felt like a museum exhibit (I know this is part of the point in these games)
if u study history and sociology or by God, you look at twitter, you can kinda start to see the entire population of America as a 300 year old neural network that’s simulating a dumb guy looking down the barrel of his gun while he cleans it.
Just rolled credits on Assassin's Creed Shadows and 20% of my experience was me thinking something looked sick as fuck and 80% was me being annoyed I had to switch characters to do some *activity*
Very inconvenient that when a fictional cat dies in a show it sort of ruins the show for me. Why am I like this. I don't care at all when fictional humans die.
Breaking: U.S. Customs and Border Protection to now give visitors entering the United States the choice of being disappeared, acquiring an entirely preventable disease, or crashing in an airplane.
You're making a sandwich. Nice. You can eat two pieces of bread, or put other pieces of food between the slices for different stat boosts. Open the ITEMs menu to choose different meats and vegetables. Once you've mastered that, come talk to me about the CONDIMENTs system.
The fear among academics and lawyers now talking on the record on just about any topic that involves the federal government or the White House is really extraordinary and worrisome, and getting worse, it seems to me, every week. Dissent by an establishment figures becoming verboten in the US
This is how US midterms won't happen, or if they do, voters are so repressed that the the GOP becomes further entrenched: www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...
