The National Examination (UN) is a system of evaluation of education standards for elementary and... more The National Examination (UN) is a system of evaluation of education standards for elementary and secondary schools conducted nationally and is also used to equalize the quality between education levels. The national examination aims to determine graduation, national education quality mapping, and also for selection to higher education levels. Over the years the UN has become a benchmark for the standardization of education in Indonesia, meaning that the UN is very much needed to find out the size of the quality of student education and the quality of teaching of a school. The government's policy regarding the plan to remove the UN system has received public attention. The removal of the UN is planned to be replaced with a competency assessment and character survey. In order to know the public's sentiments regarding this policy, research needs to be done, one of which is to analyze public sentiment through social media Twitter. In text mining tasks such as text classification and sentiment analysis, careful selection of a term weighting scheme (TWS) can have a significant impact on effectiveness. We tested the effectiveness of six classification algorithms by varying the TWS in the dataset obtained from Twitter. The experimental results showed that overall TF-IGM outperformed TF-IDF on four classification algorithms. Finally, the sentiment analysis of the discourse on the removal of the UN is expected to provide a general picture to the government regarding public opinion from the point of view of data coming from social media.

The increased need for data exchange and storage also increases the need for data exchange devices and media. One of the most commonly used media exchanges and data storage is the USB Flash Drive. USB Flash Drive are widely used because they are easy to carry and have a fairly large storage. Unfortunately, this increased need is not directly proportional to an increase in awareness of device security, both for USB flash drive devices and computer devices that are used as primary storage devices. This research shows the threats that can arise from the use of USB Flash Drive devices. The threat that is used in this research is the fork bomb implemented on an Arduino Pro Micro device that is converted to a USB Flash drive. The purpose of the Fork Bomb is to damage the memory performance of the affected devices. As a result, memory performance to execute the process will slow down. The use of a USB Flash drive as an attack vector with the fork bomb method causes users to not be able to access the operating system that was attacked. The results obtained indicate that the USB Flash Drive can be used as a medium of Fork Bomb attack on the Windows operating system.

The accuracy of the results of measuring student competency achievement is important because it will be used as a benchmark for assessment by lecturers, therefore a question instrument that functions well is needed in distinguishing between students who have high abilities and students who have low abilities based on defined criteria. A good question, that is, when a question has a balanced level of difficulty (proportional), it is said that the question is good. However, a question should be neither too difficult nor too easy. On that basis, grouping the level of difficulty of the questions should be done to make a package of questions that fit the portion. The case study taken by the researcher is a Data Warehouse S1 Information System at Telkom University. The case study was taken because the Data Warehouse course is a compulsory subject in the Information Studies Program at Telkom University. In doing the classification, the writer compares the Naive Bayes algorithm and the Support Vector Machine. The comparison results obtained the highest accuracy with the algorithm method SVM Classification. The accuracy results were obtained from the comparison of the average scores on the algorithm Naïve Bayes (Before SMOTE) of 85.73% and the SVM algorithm (Before SMOTE) of 85.11%. then for the comparison of the average score on the algorithm Naïve Bayes (After SMOTE) of 88.9% and on the SVM algorithm (After SMOTE) of 97.82%.

Water quality evaluation has a critical role in environmental management and decision-making, gives a scientific principle to protect water resources. Therefore, this study explores ANFIS-CSO for classification of water river basin. This study demonstrated that ANFIS-CSO technique is effective for water river classification. On the basis of analysis, the results verify that the ANFIS-CSO achieved high accuracy for solving problems of water river quality classification.

This disaster occurred because Indonesia's geographical location is on the equator. Drought has had a major impact on the community such as crop failure, forest fires, soil damage, the emergence of disease outbreaks, and the extinction of animals and plants. Based on data from the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia, the distribution of Riau's hotspots is quite unique. It is said so, because in this distribution, Riau has increased in every February and March as many as 277 and 248 hotspots in the last two years, namely between 2018 and 2019. To anticipate the drought that occurred in Riau, the clustering of drought-prone areas was conducted based on the analysis of hotspots data. This clustering of vulnerable areas is done by the K-Means algorithm. In determining the number of clusters of vulnerable areas, the elbow method is used as a determinant and produces as many as 4 cluster. The results of these method were analyzed by the silhouette coefficient. The result of analyzed is 0.388632163 and were classified as well-clustered. From these results, Rokan Hilir, Bengkalis, Kota Dumai are the dangerous district with 3106, 2361, and 117 point of dangerous distribution, respectively.

There is a set of techniques that can be used to reduce the data, but the different techniques showed different results as each technique is focused on solving a particular problem. This paper proposed a parameter reduction algorithm, known as 3C algorithm, to circumvent the false frequent object in reduction. Results indicated that the proposed algorithm is easy to implement and perform better than the state-of-the-art parameter reduction algorithm. Also, the proposed algorithm can be used as an effective alternative method for reducing parameters in order to enhance the decision-making process based on decision partition order. Comparative analysis were performed between the proposed algorithm and the state-of-the-art parameter reduction algorithm using several soft set in terms of parameter reduction.

Many works have been developed to solve balancing control using specific body parts movements while in a standing position. While for small disturbance have shown well, but for quite large disturbance has limited performance. In this paper, we focus on using the slight movement of a robot when quite large disturbance is applied. The robot slightly moves its position to the same direction of the disturbance. Slightly moves of the robot seems more natural with how human perform balancing when receive quite large disturbance. We implement this on our humanoid robot soccer platform. This method is to adjust the step position of the humanoid robot’s leg when getting external perturbation to remain the robot in a standing condition. By reprocessing the inverted pendulum control formula, we get the relation between the angular acceleration and the step that the robot should perform. Experiments show that with this strategy our robot platform can prevent itself from falling as twice as better than before. Our method has been successfully applied in the real humanoid robot for robot soccer competition and achieve a remarkable result.

Disasters are prone to occur in Indonesia due to geographical factors, such as tectonic plate mov... more Disasters are prone to occur in Indonesia due to geographical factors, such as tectonic plate movements, which can cause an earthquake. Earthquakes are one of the most frequent disasters, they have broad impacts in a short time and are unpredictable. Thus, an extensive search process in a short time is highly critical to determine the victims location. In this paper, a victims detection framework is developed starting from acquiring images using an unmanned aerial vehicle and further processing using convolutional neural network (CNN) to locate victims robustly on post-disaster. Input images are then sent to victim detector dedicated ground station server for further high processing robustly locating the possibility of victims. A simulation system mimicking a real environment is developed to test our framework in real time. A transmission protocol is also developed for effectively transmitting data between the robot and the server. The treatment on the detection process of the victim is different from the normal human detection, some pre-processing stages are applied to increase the variation of the given dataset. An embedded system is used for taking images and additional sensors data, such as location and time using Global Navigation Satellite System.

Color segmentation and image morphology are improved together with a more sophisticated machine learning algorithm to detect a soccer ball robustly. Those algorithms are still favorable due to its real-time running in most of the embedded platform. For localization, the field is divided into pre-deðned grids and employing k-NN (k-nearest neighbor) to determine the robot location in the grids. Pre-defined grids are used to reduce computation due to matching with a map. Experiment results show that the developed system relatively well for adapting to the new rules update.

The outcome of the reduction of soft data is dependent on the quality and discount evidence that ... more The outcome of the reduction of soft data is dependent on the quality and discount evidence that increases with optimization analysis. There is a set of techniques that can be used to reduce the data, but the different techniques showed different results as each technique is focused on solving a particular problem. This paper proposed a parameter reduction algorithm, known as 3C algorithm, to circumvent the false frequent object in reduction. Results indicated that the proposed algorithm is easy to implement and perform better than the state-of-the-art parameter reduction algorithm. Also, the proposed algorithm can be used as an effective alternative method for reducing parameters in order to enhance the decision-making process based on decision partition order. Comparative analysis were performed between the proposed algorithm and the state-of-the-art parameter reduction algorithm using several soft set in terms of parameter reduction.

Based on the priority the decision partition order can be constructed to match whether the sub set is the core of optimal decision or deciding for removing a particular sub set if their complement decision partition order status is match the original classifications. The proposed method has successfully maintained the optimal and sub optimal result. This method overcome the false parameters because it directly forwarded to reduction set. It has been validated that it is effective for parameter reduction even in large sub sets.

Many works have been developed to solve balancing control using specific body parts movements while in a standing position. While for small disturbance have shown well, but for quite large disturbance has limited performance. In this paper, we focus on using the slight movement of a robot when quite large disturbance is applied. The robot slightly moves its position to the same direction of the disturbance. Slightly moves of the robot seems more natural with how human perform balancing when receive quite large disturbance. We implement this on our humanoid robot soccer platform. This method is to adjust the step position of the humanoid robot’s leg when getting external perturbation to remain the robot in a standing condition. By reprocessing the inverted pendulum control formula, we get the relation between the angular acceleration and the step that the robot should perform. Experiments show that with this strategy our robot platform can prevent itself from falling as twice as better than before. Our method has been successfully applied in the real humanoid robot for robot soccer competition and achieve a remarkable result.

Disasters are prone to occur in Indonesia due to geographical factors, such as tectonic plate mov... more Disasters are prone to occur in Indonesia due to geographical factors, such as tectonic plate movements, which can cause an earthquake. Earthquakes are one of the most frequent disasters, they have broad impacts in a short time and are unpredictable. Thus, an extensive search process in a short time is highly critical to determine the victims location. In this paper, a victims detection framework is developed starting from acquiring images using an unmanned aerial vehicle and further processing using convolutional neural network (CNN) to locate victims robustly on post-disaster. Input images are then sent to victim detector dedicated ground station server for further high processing robustly locating the possibility of victims. A simulation system mimicking a real environment is developed to test our framework in real time. A transmission protocol is also developed for effectively transmitting data between the robot and the server. The treatment on the detection process of the victim is different from the normal human detection, some pre-processing stages are applied to increase the variation of the given dataset. An embedded system is used for taking images and additional sensors data, such as location and time using Global Navigation Satellite System.

In this paper, a humanoid robot soccer perception system, consisting of a ball, field detection, ... more In this paper, a humanoid robot soccer perception system, consisting of a ball, field detection, and localization, is developed in order to deal with the new rules in RoboCup. Color segmentation and image morphology are improved together with a more sophisticated machine learning algorithm to detect a soccer ball robustly. Those algorithms are still favorable due to its real-time running in most of the embedded platform. For localization, the field is divided into pre-deðned grids and employing k-NN (k-nearest neighbor) to determine the robot location in the grids. Pre-defined grids are used to reduce computation due to matching with a map. Experiment results show that the developed system relatively well for adapting to the new rules update.
