The '''Korean War''' was a conflict on [[Earth]] between the nations of [[North Korea]] and [[South Korea]] from [[1950]] to [[1953]]. Leading up to the war, during the period following [[World War II]], tensions had risen between the totalitarian North Korea, backed by the [[Soviet Union]] and [[China]], and its southern neighbor, who was supported by the [[United States of America|United States]] and other democratic allies. It was the first major proxy war of the [[Cold War (history)|Cold War]] that took place between the major powers during the latter half of the 20th Century.

But unbeknownst to his captors, he sabotaged the equipment they had forced him to work on, causing the the North Koreans to suffer losses due to his handiwork.
