As leaders of the people of the United Kingdom, the British monarchy have occasionally found themselves involved in the Transformers' conflict on Earth.

Outside of Transformer affairs, the King of the United Kingdom or the Queen of the United Kingdom is often held in high regard by the people of the United States of America, interestingly enough.

Notes

  • For the first 38 years of the Transformers brand, Elizabeth II was the Queen of the United Kingdom. She is likely the unnamed Wings Universe queen in the 2000s and The Last Knight queen in the 2020s while it is less clear if this is true of Shattered Glass.
    • Shortly before her passing in 2022, one of the last things she had signed off on were the Royal Mail Transformers stamps.
  • The term "Queen of England" is often used erroneously by foreigners in modern times. As Wikipedia explains, "of England" stopped being the official parlance when England and Scotland formally united in 1707. Similarly, King Arthur and Cnut the Great are not listed above on this page because they predate the founding of the Kingdom of England in the year 927.
  • The thinking by James Roberts in the 2005-2018 IDW comics is that by Nominus Prime's time, the Primes had become like the Queen: a constitutional leader but with the government having more of the power.[1]
