  The folks at MIT’s Engine asked us to develop this fantastic design for their 2019-2020 report, which aims to look back on the progress their portfolio has made tackling climate change, developing breakthroughs for human health, and creating advanced systems and infrastructure.

  It was an absolute delight to build this for the Engine and we’re extremely happy with how the animations and UN Sustainable Development Goals tables came out.

  Producer Presets is a web application for music producers and artists to find, share, download, and discuss presets for their audio production software. Very much a labor of love, Producer Presets is built to be scalable and performant, using the best technology and services available.

  We were incredibly fortunate to be trusted with the redesign of the Marin Bikes website; we poured our hearts and souls into this project and went deep on the design, the user experience, the attention to accessibility, and the back-end management features (via Craft CMS).

  The new website is ready for anything:

  • it’s translated into numerous languages,
  • it’s keyboard and screen-reader friendly,
  • and it’s built on a modular system, giving the folks at Marin Bikes the ability to create pages any way they’d like to

  We’re extremely proud of the revamped Cerulli Associates website, built with Craft CMS and Tailwind CSS.

  It utilizes a modular design system that makes it super-easy for staff to build unique pages based on a variety of custom-made modules, each with their own configuration options.

  Edge Embossing

  The folks at Edge Embossing needed an online ordering system with custom administrative tools that enable staff to track an order’s progress throughout the manufacturing process and automatically send customer emails at specific times.

  First, we created a beautiful order form that presents all options in a way that’s easy to understand, compare, and learn more detailed information about.

  Then we utilized Laravel Nova to build the custom administrative tools needed to supply staff with the status, data-points, and reports they need to run efficiently.

• Sunstein Law

  

  Sunstein

  We created a modern, professional website for Sunstein Kann Murphy & Timbers LLP, Boston’s premier intellectual property firm.

  Behind the attractive new design is an easy to use content management system, built on Craft CMS, that enables staff to edit the website’s content; more specifically, the CMS makes it easy to manage their large archive of publications and, on the visitor’s side, that archive can be filtered and searched through to easily find a specific publication.

  In yet another wonderful partnership with the design team at PEM, we built the gorgeous, mobile-friendly pem.org on top of a completely modular design system (managed by Craft CMS) that allows staff to create nearly any type of page they’d like, any time they’d like.

  Be sure to spend some time poking around—the new pem.org features some very beautiful video and photography throughout all of its pages.

  Gift Hero makes it easy to manage your gift wish lists with multiple ways to add gifts, simple privacy options, and the ability to share your content with anyone you’d like. Highlights include:

  • …or use a browser plugin.
  • View what you’ve purchased for others and, if you don’t mind spoilers, view what others have purchased for you.

  EMPath makes it their mission to disrupt poverty. Formerly Crittenton Women’s Union, EMPath begins their transformation with this beautiful new website and their new Economic Independent Exchange. Highlights include:

  • A fully responsive modular design.
  • A custom membership-based social community for organizations and their team members working with EMPath’s Mobility Mentoring platform.
  • Custom reddit-like question / answer / discussion / voting functionality built using AngularJS.
  • A CMS that enables staff to edit nearly all content, create new pages from various modular blocks, as well as moderate their Economic Independence Exchange community.

  The new signatureboston.com is a wonderful combination of helpful features, beautiful design, and cutting-edge technology. Highlights include:

  • A CMS that enables staff to edit nearly all of the content, create new pages from various modular blocks, manage multiple tiers of access, and more.
  • An interactive map that provides hotel, restaurant, and transportation details.
  • An interactive Space Finder to help visitors find the right space.
  • Email notifications that remind event planners of upcoming milestones as their event approaches.
  • A fully-responsive design that supports most modern devices.

  Neuwly is The Bucketlist Reinvented. It aims to help you accomplish your goals through curated and collaborative adventures. Highlights include:

  • A social component that enables users to find, follow, and interact with friends.
  • A custom administrative back-end that enables staff to moderate user activity and adjust experience details.
  • It’s built on AngularJS and Laravel 5.
  • It utilizes a custom implementation of Color Thief that dynamically tints each experience photograph.

  Carlisle’s beautiful, modern, and responsive wideplankflooring.com is built on AngularJS and ExpressionEngine. Highlights include:

  • An inspiration gallery featuring hundreds of beautiful photos, sortable by color and wood type.
  • An interactive, digital showroom that enables internal sales teams to highlight any of the thousands of projects for their clients.
  • It’s integrated with a Shopify ecommerce back-end.
  • It uses a custom integration with an in-house CRM application.
  • A beautiful product showroom with price calculators.

  We’ve been one of Amplify’s technical partners since 2009, working side-by-side with their internal teams to bring multiple projects to life. For example:

  • The marketing website and its CMS, featuring a content workflow and approval system.
  • A campaign tool that enables editors to create modular emails and landing pages in their CMS, then pipe them over to their CRM system at the press of a button.
  • Guided tours of their software layered over their existing AngularJS web applications.
  • An offline-capable web application for their sales team.
  • A feature of their CMS enables account representatives to create content targeted specifically to their local region.

  Evernote’s App Center features cutting-edge front-end development techniques and a content management system that makes a complex set of data easy to update and maintain. Highlights include:

  • It’s built on ExpressionEngine and uses NavEE and Better Pages.
  • Support for over 20 languages.
  • We integrated their existing localization framework.
  • Its front-end is fully responsive and was built mobile-first.

  This unique mini-website had complex and interesting features that were fun challenges to overcome:

  • One major way to navigate was by swiping each page into view.
  • One page had a pivot-point in its center that, when tapped, would rotate the entire page.
  • The website worked flawlessly on mobile phones.

  Mass Convention Center Authority

  The MCCA is in charge of the largest and most technologically advanced exhibition center in the Northeastern United States. We’ve had the pleasure of working on multiple projects with them over the last four years. Most recently:

  • Developed both massconvention.com and the MCCA Intranet using ExpressionEngine.
  • Created a custom interface with the MCCA’s internal scheduling API.
  • Connected ExpressionEngine’s authentication functionality with their existing Active Directory service.

  • Admin friendly and extremely flexible modular Craft CMS install.
  • Customizable forms and a custom dealer locator plugin.
  • Multi-formatted sliders and testimonial modules that give content contributors powerful design capabilities.
