Welcome at Thinkable
Our main activity is to design, produce and support products to create tactile graphics, a significant means for a visually impaired person to access information.
So of course we strongly promote the application of tactile graphics as much as we can for all ages.
Whether you are a kid, a student or an adult, experiencing raised line drawings with your fingertips can bring fun and understanding of the
(visual) world.
Part and parcel of our promotion and support material is to make sure you understand as much as possible of how the products look and feel without having them in your hands. We did our very best on our highly text based web pages to close the information gap.
In case you have a product in your hands already, the descriptions and manuals will really help you to use it effectively.
Sure you will find photos and videos on our website as well. However, especially when you are a teacher, you might want to read the text descriptions so you can follow through what the VIP students have to grasp.
You can use our words so you don’t need to find yours. Our texts are carefully curated by Jaap Breider, the designer of the products, a blind user himself.
We like to keep our product information and manuals as useful as possible, so if you have any suggestions for changes or for more clarification, please let us know.
Thinkable provides products to create tactile media, making information accessible for visually impaired people.
