MUSIC VIDEO: ‘DER LETZTE TON’

We are proud to release the music video for the song "Der Letzte Ton" created by photographer David Foli.
Recordings where done in snowcovered greenhouses during the dead of winter. The temperature where well below zero and while heat was provided by a simple wood stove we recorded the video as darkness fell. The atmosphere was quite unique and matched the music perfect.
About
Totemtanz is a modern jazz quartet that draws inspiration from a wide range of musical styles and combinations of sounds including jazz, rock and modern composition music.
Based in Denmark, Totemtanz combines Nordic folk traditions and the rich jazz heritage of Copenhagen with the nostalgia of European interwar period cabaret.
Their eponymous debut album was released in December 2022 and the track “Abstrakte maskiner 2” was in frequent rotation on Danish national radio.
The quartets second album “In Trödelmarkt der Träume” further expands on Totemtanz’ unique sonic universe and was released in January 2024.
