Further projects deduced that the motives for environmentalism by Pagan individuals are altruistic in motivation. My research highlights the slightly paradoxical individualistic nature of the various Pagan paths which argues that environmentalism is only inherent by proxy of the people that practice the various paths and that when utilizing ecological practices within rituals, motivations become more self-serving.
