Magdalena Bielenia-Grajewska
Dr Magdalena Bielenia-Grajewska is an Associate Professor at the University of Gdansk (Institute of English, Department of Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication).
She is the head of the Intercultural Communication and Neurolinguistics Laboratory.
She was a researcher at SISSA (Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati di Trieste), leading a project on branding and neuroscience (EU Actions).
She is a linguist (MA in English Studies, PhD in Humanities, Habilibation in Linguistics University of Gdansk), an economist (MA in Economics, Gdańsk University of Technology), a specialist in managing scientific projects (postgraduate studies, Technical University of Gdansk) and a specialist in the mechanisms of the Eurozone (postgraduate studies, National Bank of Poland, University of Gdansk). Her PhD thesis was of an interdisciplinary character, being devoted to intercultural communication, translation and investment banking. Her habilitation work focused on organizational linguistic identity.
She is a member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Actor-Network Theory and Technological Innovation (IJANTII) and serves as an ad hoc reviewer in several international journals.
Her scientific interests include organizational discourse, online social networks, intercultural communication, sociolinguistics, ANT and symbolism in management studies, project management (waterfall and agile), Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.
She is an author of over 140 scientific contributions published in English, Polish and German.
