Alexandra M Price

Alexandra earned her bachelor’s in geology and minor in Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.) at Colorado Mesa University in western Colorado. She was a G.I.S. Intern at the Bureau of Land Management until she graduated (2016). She continued her education (M.S.) at the University of Texas Permian Basin graduating as an emerging geology instructor (2019). Alexandra teaches full time as a geology instructor at Wharton County Junior College, and as an adjunct. She began her Ph.D. (geology) studies at University of Houston in Spring 2023 where her primary research focus is finding critical minerals by applying multispectral remote sensing techniques.
