We're excited to announce the success of Mace’s first-ever Jobs & Careers Fair organised last month by our colleagues in the Construct Social Value team! 👷♂️🎉 With 19 subcontractors, four training partners, and CITB, the event attracted over 350 job seekers and numerous pre-employment charities and colleges. The fair was filled with engaging career conversations and interactive activities. Workshops on early careers, pre-employability skills, speed mentoring, and green skills highlighted the vast opportunities in construction. 🚧 Salisbury Square Development milestone achieved! 🚧 We are proud to announce the "Bottoming Out" of the Salisbury Square Development, marking the completion of the deepest excavation phase at 18 meters. This monumental project involved excavating 62,270 cubic meters, constructing 434 secant piles, and drilling 66 ground source boreholes to 240 meters deep. This flagship facility for His Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Services (HMCTS) and the City of London Police will strengthen the City’s justice system and reinforce London’s reputation as a global business hub. The ceremony was kicked off by Paul Thomas, Construction Director at Mace, and attended by Lord Mayor, Michael Mainelli, members of the City Corporation, City of London Police Assistant Commissioner Paul Betts, and The Lady Chief Justice, Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill, DBE, PC, along with other members of the judiciary. As part of the ceremony, students from City of London Academies Trust – Galleywall Primary School, participated in a special event, burying a time capsule on site to commemorate this pivotal moment in the development. We’re excited to share the successful topping-off of VITRO Sta. Rosa with MDBI Construction Corp and Mace! This puts us right on track to unveil the country’s first true hyperscale data center – built to serve the unique requirements of global tech companies. “VITRO Sta Rosa is a significant milestone for the PLDT Group and the Philippines. A lot of hyperscalers have already expressed their interest in colocating in our facility. Once VSR is complete, we will continue to build data center facilities ahead of demand to anticipate the future requirements of our customers as they accelerate the adoption of cloud and AI technologies,” said Victor S.
