To celebrate World Mental Health Day, we've encouraged all our offices to take time away from their desks, connect with each other and take a moment to encourage collaboration between teams. 💂London: An amazing breakfast spread in the kitchen, encouraging us to catch up with our colleagues, talk about life, and start the day the right way. At lunchtime we have a group stretching session planned in the office too! 🐝 Manchester: Also had themselves a great breakfast in our lounge area, full of conversation and laughter, with cake and other goodies coming later in the day! 🍁 Toronto: A morning walk as a team (including the furry members! 🐕) with coffee and smoothies along the way, with a relaxed lunch of board games and fun coming up. Did you know that Gen Z are three times more likely to rank wellbeing at work as important when compared to the older workforce with a further 20% more likely to engage with employee benefits packages then older colleagues?  🤔 According to Luke Bullen at Gym Pass’s “The pandemic changed people’s approach to wellbeing, but it appears this has been felt most with the youngest workers. Today, young people are simply not content with jobs they deem unsatisfying or potentially harmful to their health and they’re not shy about sharing these expectations with their employers.” As Gen Z share of the workforce increases, businesses worldwide are increasingly recognising the importance of enhancing their benefits packages to ensure they can retain talent. Unfortunately, if a job proves to not be fulfilling, they might leave it even if it’s a good professional fit. ✔️ It is evident that employers recognise this as 40% agreed that this value is most likely to attract Gen Z talent with a close 29% of respondents saying they believe they are most likely to retain Gen Z talent by being transparent with their ethics. ✨ Unsurprisingly, Gen Z have suggested that they would not accept a job without diverse leadership, and 68% say their employer is not doing enough to build a more diverse workplace.
