David Lorand
David Lorand (PhD 2010) is a Research Associate at the Université libre de Bruxelles (CReA - Patrimoine) and a former Scientific Member at the Institut français d'archéologie orientale du Caire (IFAO). His research focusses on the art and the history of the Middle Kingdom.
He headed a research program dedicated to the study of the ancient royal Residence of Itj-Tawy as part of the Institut français d'archéologie orientale scientific research program (2012-2016) (http://www.ifao.egnet.net)
He also took part, since 2005, to the joint ULB and ULg mission in the 18th dynasty tombs of Sennefer (TT 96), Amenemope (TT 29) and Amenhotep (TT C.3) in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna - Luxor (Egypt) (http://www.crea.ulb.ac.be).
